Just a quick blurb to identify a fix for this problem.

If you've purchased iLife '08 and the new sleek and flat apple keyboard you may have noticed that you lost the ability to edit the names of Events in iPhoto after the first software update for the keyboard.

As it turns out (and thanks to this forum thread for the heads up), the issue is caused by the de-installation of the Helvetica Neue font. "But why was it de-installed", you say? I haven't the foggiest, my good friend. If you do, please drop a comment below. In any case, on my system it was as easy as going to /Library/Fonts/, double clicking HelveticaNeue.dfont and then clicking "install" in the resulting window. As is alluded to elsewhere, if that doesn't work, you'll need to do something extreme like install some software to pluck it from your install disk ;)
